Get Outside

This shot was taken at Red River Gorge in Eastern Kentucky. We don't like to display images in this manner but blogspot is obviously having some problems today and I must go and get outside. I tried two different images and both have these bad pixel lines streaked across them. We will try and fix tomorrow.

Double Arch at Midnight

This shot took several different tries. Barry had to play with the angles and flashes. The total exposure is approximately 45 minutes. Arches National Park is one of the best places to get night skies because of the limited light pollution.

Night time at Double Arch

Red River Gorge area in North Eastern Kentucky is mostly sandstone cliffs with the Red River snaking along the bottom. There are massive arches that you walk across. Natural Bridge is big enough to drive over but they have marked it as pedestrian traffic only. During the spring & summer months you can see the stars as well as campfires at night.

Flower of Fire
