Hocking Hills, Ohio

Hocking Hills in one of the few State Parks that is just as awesome in the spring as it is in the summer as it is in the winter and so on. This image captured in the fall shows people throughly enjoying themselves in the great big expanse we call nature.

Cayo Costa State Park Florida

This is a black and white of Cayo Costa State Park on Florida's Gulf side. This shot was taken after some nasty weather and most of the driftwood was scattered around on the ground. The same image in color didn't have quite the same appeal so we decided to stay with the shadowy b&w. Cayo Costa is an island so one can only get there by boat. It has cheap camping and beautiful sunsets. There are also several nesting Osprey's so it's a good place for a photog to spend a few days.

At Hueston Woods State Park in Ohio a campfire lends some drama to an already lovely fall scene.

Redwoods

This image was taken in Henry Cowell State park in California. The redwoods are amazing trees that make one believe in giants. They are magnificent examples of diversity in nature and beacons to all that want to perserve our natural roots.

Waterfall-sicle

This ice wall is in Hocking Hills State Park, Athens, Ohio. The waterfall freezes in cold temperatures and on this day there was several times more water than normal. I love the design and the fluid color patterns.
