Sea Snake?

This driftwood has had a long journey based on its beautifully polished exterior. This is an infrared taken on Uvita Beach on the Pacific side of Costa Rica, just above the Osa. Common, simple things are sometimes the most memorable.

Sunset Surfer

The Pacific Coast of Costa Rica boasts some pretty spectacular sights. On Playa Hermosa, this stunning sunset came just after four consecutive evenings of rain.

Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica

This barge is a permanent structure on the black sand beach in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca Costa Rica. On a summer Sunday afternoon is the best time to catch kids jumping off and hiding underneath the barge. Their laughs are infectious and even a bit spooky as you sit on the beach and hear the echoed laughter of unseen children. We highly recommend traveling to the Caribbean beaches of Costa Rica. It's good, it's cheap and it's inspiring for a photographer.

Sea Otter

A sea otter that floats around in the water just South of Santa Cruz California. This guy has a good life as long as he stays around clean water. There is quite a bit of industry around, let's hope that they are conscientious.

A Beautiful Day

This lovely scene is from Cahuita National Park in Limon, Costa Rica. The beach is one of the least developed beaches in Costa Rica. This photo shows the remnants of an old fishing pier with the backdrop of tree's and clouds. The park has a large area of beach with a walking path under the tree canopy directly behind it. You can walk the path enjoying white faced monkeys, coati's, sloths, crabs and a variety of birds including toucans. There is no entry fee but donations are welcome.
