A bamboo path - Infrared
Another image from the bamboo grove in Uvita. Every place we have been in Costa Rica has been beautiful. It doesn't matter if it's downtown or on a road to a banana plantation, there is always something interesting to see.

Bam! boo
This infrared bamboo photo was taken last week in Playa Uvita, Costa Rica. The owner of the land has planted bamboo throughout their property as a means of erosion control. As for the image, I have noticed Barry is using his infrared filter alot more lately. I am not sure if this is an artistic stage he is going through or because we haven't had time lately to stay until sunset or sunrise and it is really bright here most days. Once our building project is complete I will be able to compare. I am really hoping that he gets out his cine-slider too!

Sea Snake?
This driftwood has had a long journey based on its beautifully polished exterior. This is an infrared taken on Uvita Beach on the Pacific side of Costa Rica, just above the Osa. Common, simple things are sometimes the most memorable.

Arenal in Infrared

This is Arenal Volcano in Northern Costa Rica. During the green season the cone is covered with moisture on most days. The best days for viewing are during Jan through April early in the morning. If you are lucky the night time brings spectacular views of the lava flowing down the sides with boulders being spit up and out of the middle. You should come and see. 10degreesabove.com is our official photography tour company website.

That old house - Infrared

This infrared image was taken on our family farm in Indiana. The outside of the house is covered in what looks like roofing material and the roof was metal. The house was on the property when my grandfather bought the farm, so to speak. When we visited in the winter when I was younger we would all warm up around the pot-bellied stove.
