The Summer Tanager has the right idea

This little guy has the right idea he is visiting us for a short time during the U.S. winter. I got excited when I read that because that means that we should have different migratory birds here all year round which means different subjects! Barry is devising a bird house high in the tree tops for the toucans and parrots. They won't come down to ground level so we must go up.

Crimson Collared Tanager

You can wiki this bird for information if you want. I just like looking at its pretty picture. Photo tip: remember that the only thing better than X-rite color checker is a tripod.

Palm Tanager

This is a very common bird from Mexico southward.

Buff throated Saltator

Originally placed in the Cardinalidae (Cardinals & Gosbeaks) this bird seems to be more at home in the Tanager family (Thraupidae). I don't know any of this for myself I just look stuff up and regurgitate it, just like a bird.

Blue-Gray Tanager

This songbird thrives on fruit and is commonly found around human habitations.
