We set the fruit (on a homemade coconut/bamboo stand)out a few days before Barry intends to shoot, then a day or two before we set up some sheets or towels as a blind to get them used to that. Barry then sets a flash (with a better beamer) just off camera to highlight the eye and fill in the shadows, just a touch.
