White Tank Mountains, Arizona
The White Tank Mountains in Maricopa County, Arizona is a day hike park with 25 miles of trail. Honestly, this park and surrounding area was by far not my favorite. You have to drive through fields of fake agriculture (oranges? in the desert?)to reach some naked, dusty hills. I prefered Sedona for enviroment, but you must spend way to much money on food in Sedona even in the grocery stores. If you are in the Phoenix area go and see it. If not, don't make special plans. From a photographers point of view, it's a good place to practice taking images in harsh lighting conditions.
