This Yellowstone Bison and many of her friends stand around the warm spots of steam rising when it starts to get cold outside. Many a bison has been badly burned and killed just trying to keep warm. Yellowstone NP was one of our favorites and we highly recommend camping and visiting there for no less than 2 weeks as there is much to see and do.
Iconic may be an understatement, what an INCREDIBLE photograph! There's something utterly compelling about the way the bison is posed along with his silhouette like that. What an awesome photo.
