These starfish were just laying around the eastern Zanzibar coast. These guys are normally covered with a fair amount of water but when the tides recede drastically, as they did this day, they are left in the open air.

What a great series! I love the colors of the starfish, I didn't know they came in so many different colors. Amazing photos!!
