We came upon this prayer station on our return trip from Cartago, Costa Rica. It is on a well paved road leading back to Siquirres but I can not seem to find any tourist information on it. The box that is at the top of the fountain has a picture of Mary in it and she appears to have angels guarding her. The vista there is really impressive. You can see for miles and miles. Stunning.
Barry processed this in HDR because the shading of the shrine's roof and the mid-day sun of the vista were two dramatically different exposures.
